Not content with being a singer, songwriter, and actress, it looks like Lady Gaga is her very own skincare and cosmetics line in the not too distant future. On January 3, the Haus Beauty website, a brand which has been trademarked by Gaga, went live. However, everything is still top secret at the moment, with the website giving fans and beauty enthusiasts nothing more than the opportunity to enter their email address in preparation for future updates and news.

The Haus Beauty Brand

In May 2018, Ate My Heart Inc., Lady Gaga’s company, filed to trademark the Haus Beauty name. It was at this point that fans anticipated an exciting new brand of cosmetics from the star as Haus Beauty was defined as ‘a cosmetics and makeup line covering everything from foundation and lipstick to perfume, highlighter and nail polish.’ Haus Beauty was trademarked in July 2018. However, there has been no official word from Gaga or her team regarding when the brand will officially launch.

Subtle Hints

But Lady Gaga has been giving her fans clues as to what’s to come for some time. In September, she used the #hausbeauty hashtag on three of her Instagram posts. She also tagged the @marcbeauty Instagram account in her posts. So, it’s possible that she’s teaming up with Marc Jacobs Beauty for her next career move.

Meanwhile, earlier posts from 2018 saw her wearing bold red and pink lipstick and quoting that she’ll be “making music n’ stuff”, a possible sign that she has been working on her beauty line for some time.

Lady Gaga’s Beauty Experience

Since bursting onto the music scene in 2008, Lady Gaga has become notorious for constantly changing her appearance. In 2012, she launched her very own perfume, Lady Gaga Fame, which shifted six million bottles in just a week. She also fronted MAC campaigns in both 2009 and 2011, and her makeup artist is Sarah Tannoo, the Global Artistry Ambassador for Marc Jacobs Beauty. Therefore, she’s sure to have picked up some beauty tricks of the trade.

What To Expect

Lady Gaga typically favors showstopping, out-there looks which stand out from the crowd. So, her cosmetics range is expected to feature bright color palettes, plenty of glitter, and bold lip shades. However, for the 2018 Venice Film Festival premiere of A Star Is Born, Gaga opted for a much more demure look, which included soft pinks. For that reason, there’s every chance that there will be new makeup and skin care products for everyone in Gaga’s new range.

However, individuals looking to get their hands on Lady Gaga’s cosmetics and beauty products may be in for a bit of a wait. Popstar Rihanna trademarked her beauty brand in August 2014, but the launch didn’t happen until September 2017.

It may be some time before Lady Gaga’s beauty line officially goes on sale. But fans are already excited about the prospect of their favorite star joining the growing list of famous faces branching out into the beauty world.
